James's Story
Life
I am a professor of Political Science at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. I teach courses in Constitutional Law and American Government. I earned my PhD at Stanford University, next to Palo Alto, CA. I also have a BA in Political Science and History Teaching from Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah and a JD (law degree) from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU. rked for about 4 years at Sweet Home Thriftway. I married the former Kathleen Updike, from Falls Church, Virginia, on 21 August 1999. We have a daughter, named Brooklyn, born in 2000, a son named Nathanael, born in 2001, a son named Powell, born in 2003, a son named Reagan, born in 2005, a son named August, born in 2008, twin girls, Allisyn and Kathryn, born in April of 2010 (Allisyn is now deceased.), and a son named Justice, born in 2012.
