James's Story
Life
Graduated from Emmanuel College, Kitchener in 1955 - pastored a succession of churches through 1971 in Canada and U.S. Then left ministry to manage nursing and retirement homes in U.S. and Canada. Moved from Chicago back to Canada in 1977 to develop 3-level care project in Brantford for Versa Care Corp. In 1981 took a leave from this "burnout" type work to manage the Brantford Regional Chamber of Commerce for 5 years. Then in 1986 accepted position as Administrator of Westminster Court Seniors' Residence in Mississauga, retiring from that position in 2001 and moving to Sarnia. Marr...Expand for more
ied in 1955, and remarried in 1987. Have 4 children and 8 grandchildren between Helen and I. My father owned the Imperial Oil station at Main and Davis Dr. in Newmarket for a number of years. He died in his 92nd year in 1999. My mother died in 1989.

Newmarket High School graduation in 1952. Emmanuel College graduation in 1955. BA from Bethel College, Indiana, in 1959. Bachelor of Theology from Emmanuel in 1963. Graduate work in Pastoral Counselling at Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. Numerous grad classes in various subjects from Indiana University, Olivet College, etc.
