James's Story
Joined the Army in 1963, became active in the Ft Belvoir Sport Parachute Club, served in DaNang, VN in 67, took discarge in Saigon remained in VN as a civilian with Philco Ford Corp as HR Rep. Left VN in 72, hitched across Australia, Perth to Sydney, traveled throughout Asia and Europe. Worked as HR rep at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, received AA degree from Phx College in 70, and BA from Cal State S.F. in 76. ted with wife in 79 during Islamic revolution. Worked in Kuwait for one year, retired in Mazatlan, Mex for 3 years, went back overseas, retired again in Florida in 2000, out of retirement to Muscat, Oman for 3 years (all HR related), retired again in Arizona, returning overseas, this time to Doha, Qatar for another overseas contract. Most overseas assignments were military contract related.
Just completed contract in Qatar and now enjoying retirement (again) in HUA HIN, Thailand.
