James's Story
Life (updated 8-25-22):
Grew up in Berkeley, Illinois and the family moved to Neenah, Wisconsin in August, 1965, after freshman year at Proviso West High School.
Left Neenah High School in '68 without a diploma to teach guitar and did that for several years while working full time at Concerto Music, Fox Valley Music, Neenah Paper and Menasha Corporation. While at Menasha, a maintenance job opened up and I got into the apprenticeship program. Four years later I had a journeyman's card as an Industrial Electrician and a GED. rporate sites there until retirement. Opportunities at K-C came to me in Electrical Engineering, training, LAN Administration, and computer user support.
Until August 1, 2009, I was the computer help guy for a site of 400 workers and loving every minute of it!
After being retired for 17+ years, I highly recommend it.
I have a natural child (Angela, 53 years old) from my first marriage and three step-kids with Diane, my guardian angel.
