James V's Story
I hope my friends from school remember me in friendly and kind terms. St. Michaels was a great experience and prepared all of us well for the future. I had fun and have fond memories of all of you. I wouldn't change any of it. I pulled a lot of pranks and definitely got into trouble on a regular basis, but I guess while doing so I got an education.
When I left St. Michaels I went into Marine Corps. After service I entered NJ State Police. After leaving State Police I formed my own investigative firm with a friend of mine Det. Ron Antoci of NYPD. I also headed up the Security Dept. of one of the largest steamship cargo companies in the U.S., as a Vice President.
Professionally I did well and owe much of it to St.Michaels...Expand for more
as far as getting a good education from the nuns.
I have been married twice and have eight great children. Some of my sons followed my footsteps into the Marine Corps and then onto the State Police. One of my sons Sean is a surgeon at Christiana Hosp. in Delaware. I live with my wife Denise in Island Heights along the Toms River in Ocean County.
Pete Lukowiak from our class lives in the town also with his wife Trish.
I have six grandchildren. I am semi retired and still have some business interests in a couple of companies in New Jersey. I spend a lot of time at my club playing golf, I found its a great way to relax and get some exercise.
