Life
Married to Ronda, thirteen grand children and seven great grand children. EE U/U, BS OU. Twenty years US Army, Army Aviator, three tours RVN, retired 1985. American Airlines Seventeen years, Retired Captain, June 2002. Split time between Granbury Lake, Texas and Davenport, Iowa. Still flying for North Dallas Aviation. As Steve McQueen said in "Magfificent Seven", "So far, so good". Active in our church and do alot of charity work. P) degree. Life continues to bring challenges. I am in the year book, only 59 and 60. Was attending U of U last half of senior year and missed my year book picture apt. Could not make it up so not in 61 YB. Committee keeps getting me confused with James Johnson 61YB. We are not the same person. Don Johnson is my younger brother. He coached football and taught English at West until he retired. Have retired again Oct 2014. No more flying have hung up my spurs and wings. Ronda still in Grad school we are in Iowa on our ranch. Between horses and other chores I stay busy. Now 14 gran kids and 8 great.
