James's Story

Dear friends, Well, my story is probably not unlike many others. I graduated from NEHS in 1968. I didn't get into college right away, so I was drafted but I chose to join the Air Force. I repaired aircraft communications systems while serving my year in Viet Nam and at my final station at Norton AFB in San Bernardino, CA. There I met my future wife Janice, got married, got into college and attended Pharmacy school at the University of California at San Francisco or UCSF (the best by the way). We lived in San Francisco for three years and finished my last year of school at UC San Diego Medical Center. I graduated in June 1978. I have three wonderful children, James IV, Janisha, and Marinee, and three grandchildren. t now my specialty is medication safety and quality management. I went through a divorce in 2001, but I remarried to my wonderful wife Jana in 2006. Jana is originally from Nebraska. They do say that opposites attract. We attend Loveland Church in Ontario, CA. where I have been a member since 1989. We have a weekly bible study in our home. We recently purchased a time share in Orlando and look forward to traveling a lot in the near future. I am still a Sooner fan, but I like the Lakers and I'm trying to stick with the Raiders, but it's been hard lately. I'm glad to hear the that OKC is getting an NBA team. My mom and sister still live in OKC and Norman and my brother lives in Houston. I try to come back for visits at least yearly and we were there this past July 4th holiday. God has been good to us and it is good to serve Him!
