James's Story
Life
When I left Otto I went to Penn State and got an engineering degree. I went to work for Halliburton Company in the oilfield at Bradford. I transfered to Flora, Il in 1951 and worked there for 12 years. In 1963 I was transfered to Duncan, OK in the research lab and worked there until retirement in 1991. I married a girl from Flora in 1952 and we have one daughter and two grandsons. I enjoy loafing, playing golf and exercising. My mail pastime is the computer. Workplace
I worked in the oil fields of Pennsyllvania and Illinois for many years as an engineer. I then moved to the research area of designing stimulation treatments for wells all around the world. I spent many years using computers to analyze data from wells and using that data to try to improve production from the well. I worked for Halliburton Company and know it to be the best company in the world. They pioneered many methods used today to complete wells worldwide. They have received much bad publicity for the media unfairly.
