Jami's Story
Life
I am not married; I never have been and probably never will be. Having been single most of my life, taking on the burden of a husband would be too tiresome. I am pretty much set in my ways. As a consequence, I do not have children.
My cousin says I am a nomad--I am a travel nurse and I move every 3 months; this in itself doesn't bode well for forming lasting relationships...I've tried. It doesn't work!
I currently live in New Haven, CT. I'll stay here a while. I moved from Arizona to here and really don't want to make a big move for a while, but I'll probably go to Boston or NYC next.
I lead a pretty normal/boring life. I enjoy some excitement about every 4 years. those who know me well, know how passionate I am about one thing--U2. I am the equivalent of a deadhead. I belong to what is termed THE ZOO. Its fun; people think I am crazy, but I don't care. I've met Bono and the boys mul...Expand for more
tiple times and get something from their music and the concert experience that I have never gotten anywhere else. My friend Nancy explains it best; a U2 concert is one part rock concert, one part political rally and one part a religious tent revival. I saw many shows on the Vertigo show last year from Dublin, Ireland to Mexico City, Mexico to Honolulu, HI. I met so many cool people and have memories that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately, just as it was 5 Years ago for the Elevation tour, I will be paying for this for the next 4 years and then it will be time to do it all over again! Perhaps sooner--U2 are rumored to be in the studio recording their next album.
Yes, I know--I have entirely too much time on my hands, but one person's knitting hobby is another person's U2 obsession--though a healthy one ;)
