Who am I, really? Life isn't about finding out who you are, it's about inventing yourself. To be truthful, my life has had alot of downs and not a whole lot of ups. When I was 3 months from my original graduation date, I was diagnosed A.D.D. and given a bottle of pills intended to help me focus on my schoolwork. After it had the opposite effect on me, I never refilled it and dropped out instead, and enrolled in the school of hard knocks. My dad was thoroughly convinced that I would never get my GED on my own - and then I proved him wrong. It took the birth of my second son for me to get a true sense of what I'd like to do, and I enrolled in the local college. I was in the nursing program, and definitely getting a better picture of who I'd like to be, and was doing well for a while. Due to poor relationship choices, my newfound "personal development" escalated things at home, and I took my boys and got out. Since then, life has definitely been like riding a roller-coaster - blindfolded. But I take it one day at a time, and now I'm in a fantastic relationship with the one person who truly seems to understand me.
