I graduated from Kellogg Community College in June of 1990 with an Associates in Applied Science-Drafting and Design Technology. I worked for Tower Pinster Titus, Associates from August of 1990 until January of 2000. I started out as a draftsman, then was an Architectural Job Captain, Mechanical Job Captain, and a Mechanical Project Manager and Engineering CAD Manager when I left. I graduated from Western Michigan University in December of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In January of 2000 I started a new job working in the Metal Fabricating Division of General Motors in Grand Rapids. I worked as a Tool & Die Supervisor in the Technical Support Department until January 2004. I then worked as a Process Control Engineer on special assignment in the Technical Support Department from January 2004 until May 2005. I moved into production as a Press Supervisor from May 2005 to May 2007 then as a Manufacturing/Production Planner in the press room from May 2007 thru May 2009. of the press room until the cease of production in the facility. After the cease of production in Grand Rapids, I moved into the role of Project Engineer on the Press Consolidation Team, which started in Grand Rapids following the removal of two press systems.
