Jamie's Story
I am living in the suburbs of Boston with my husband and four kids (daughter age 11, son age 6, daughter age 4, and baby son age 1). Over the past several years I have lived in Little Rock, Dallas, Los Angeles, and now here. I'm getting used to living in big cities. I had a religious conversion eight years ago and am now a practicing Muslim. I took a three week trip to Pakistan in 2003 for my sis-in-law's wedding, and then spent a month and a half there in the summer of 2007. It was quite a unique experience, between having two bombings in the city while we were there and traveling to some of the larger cities as well as the small mountain villages.

School

tirely). Is Mr. Tuttle still handling the yearbook and newspaper? That was fun stuff! And Senora Binns' Spanish class... she was such a down-to-business type teacher, and I can still remember what I learned in her classes. Does anyone want to hear me sing "El Condor"? Maybe not, but I could do it. Mrs. Spraggins and the FHA bunch... we made some DEE-licious cookies if I do say so myself.
College
Arkansas Tech... I didn't think I would end up going there, but it turned out to be a pretty good experience. I got my BA in English.
Workplace
In my last job, I was Director of the SCORE! Personal Academic Training Center of Long Beach, CA. I learned so much from this job, but totally exhausted myself in the process. I wonder what everyone else has ended up doing??
