What can I say about good ol' JD? In general, I loved the school, but many of the people I didn't associate with. I'm kind of scared to put my biggest crush's name on here...they still don't know. LOL! As far as teachers that inspired me, I would have to say Mrs. Stewart, GySgt Jeffers, SgtMaj Roberts, and Mr. C. Johnson. They each taught me something different but in all, they taught me to try my best. We don't succeed in everything all the time, but when we are determined and remember to put God first, anything is possible.
College
There's not too much I can tell you about college life, considering that I don't start until the fall. However, I can say that I will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I plan to major in psychology and minor in spanish.
Military

ps Jr. ROTC (where in the last year I was the Commanding Officer of the battalion and the Commander of Unarmed Drill), I decided not to pursue a career in the military. As a person, I had the potential and the determination to make it, however, as far as my future, it was not what was best for me. In JROTC, I learned numerous leadership skills and I think they helped me become who I am today and they will continue to help me regardless of my affliation with the services. I still have a strong relationship with my JROTC unit and ALL of the Recruiters from the Montgomery area. Unlike many would think, they don't pressure me to join the military, they know that it is a personal decision. If I do decide to join the military or was asked what service I would push people to look into, it would have to be the Marine Corps. Semper Fi!
