Jan's Story
Life
My life since high school has been a combination of wonders and trials, but all in all, I can't complain. I have two wonderful children that are doing well on their own and two grandsons (Anthony & Thoran) and one granddaughter (Presley), plus two step-grandchildren (Rui and Lea) whom I absolutely adore (it's great being a grandmother).
I have always lived in Oregon all these years, although resided in Hillsboro, OR for 20 years and currently moved to Portland (North Bethany area). I retired from Intel after 30 year...Expand for more
s. I can't express how awesome it is to be retired! I am constantly doing projects (sewing for my granddaughter) or playing golf (or attempting to play golf - what a frustrating game).
I remarried in 2010 to Ron - may last name is now "Shoquist." We have a lot of fun enjoying our townhouse in Redmond, OR at Eagle Crest. We do a lot of hiking, golf, enjoying the local sites & plan to do some kayaking this summer.
I'm truly enjoying my seventies & retirement, and looking forward to more wonderful, exciting years to come.
