Looking back at the things that mattered so much then and really did make a change in who and how we turned out. The teacher who inspired me most was Ms. O. She drove us hard and expected more than we probably at times really thought we could give.

Life Now
Married a fabulous man who just retired from the military with 27 years in the Air Force.
The summer of 2016, I graduated the police academy in hopes of the school district I work for beginning a ISD Police Department. I love working in the school district and helping kids daily. I now see from Officer Shields' prospective so many things with these kids. Daily you can tell when you have helped those kids out. All this of would not have been made possible without the love and encouragement of my amazing husband.
