Jane's Story
Just a note: on March 17 my husband and I will be visiting St Joe for a few days; this will be my first time back since 1976! I'm looking forward to showing him my home town and seeing old familiar sights.

What about you would surprise everyone at your high school reunion?
My Hair!!! It's straight as a board now that I'm going through menopause. Who knew I'd have to wait 40 years to have perfect hair?
Which teacher would you love to see again? Why?
I think for those the had her for English Lit, the reasons were obvious: Mrs. Fraizer, if only it were possible. I cried when a friend sent me the write up in the paper about her when she died.
What's the wildest thing you ever did in school?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I "broke bad" in college.
How do you hope old friends remember you?

To be truly happy, you would be where, doing what, with whom?
Doing exactly what I"m doing now with my wonderful husband, but, of course if we had a place on the water.....WOW that would be perfect!
Life doesn¿t always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise?
Probably my biggest surprise as an adult was to realize that my parents weren't as dumb as I thought...if only it didn't take me so long to figure that out.
You get one do-over. What do you do differently?
Hard to say, because my entire life experiences have brought me where I am now, but, sidebar here, I would have been a better parent.
What's the weirdest job you ever had?
Summer of '77, I worked for a part time White House correspondant who had a fish bait shop. Several Carter Administration calls including Carter ordering "fish".
