Life
After living in the midwest my entire life, I quit my job, packed up my entire life, threw my dog Norman in a Uhaul, and moved to San Diego, CA. Once I made the decision to go for it, everything just fell into place. I put my house on the market and sold it after only 3 weeks. I planned to move whether or not I had a job, however I lucked out and got a job a week before I moved. Once here, I found a cute little house to rent and have now just obtained a job as a City Attorney 10 m...Expand for more
inutes from my house in downtown San Diego. The weather is amazing, I'm 15 minutes from the beach and 45 minutes from the mountains and life is good....:-)
So - if you ever thought you wanted to just chuck it all and start over somewhere warm and sunny I say, GO FOR IT! Life's too short - you gotta grab what you want and take a chance. Hell, if it doesn't work out, you can always go back - you KNOW what that's like and at least you DID something rather than just talked about it....:-)
