Jane's Story
After high school I had the opportunity to travel to England & Scotland. I loved Scotland,& hope to go back someday. I went to Northwestern College of Business & recieved a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Love the L.A. & New York Markets.
With the recession after graduation,I moved to Sisters,Oregon to work at the Patterson Llama Ranch. They also raised Polish Arabian horses.I worked with the horses & housesat for the owners.
I met my husband in Eugene. He would drive up to Sisters to take me out. We dated for 28 days before getting engaged.
We were married May of '81. And 5 yrs.later, our daughter,Sarah was born. She was 9 weeks early & weighed a whopping 2# 10 1/2 oz. She was in the NICU for 4 wks. Natalie was born in '89. She was 11 wks. early & weighed in at 2# 3 1/2oz. She was sicker than Sarah & was in the NICU for 9 wks.
She had a a lot of ear infections and other health issues, as well as being "developmentaly delayed with autisum". Isn't that a mouthful.
We've been blessed throughout her life with amazing teachers and ARC of Lane County. She is a happy girl.
Sarah did not delay in anything other in growth. She is our very bright and intellegent daughter. But instead of chossing to go on to college, she chose marriage. She become a CNA after giving us an awsome grandson. We love her husband & are proud of her acomplishments.(she is 4'11" & Eli is 6'3". Immanuel 36"!)

r Loft after taking some time off after quiting White House Black Market. I'm much happier now-I don't like to "make" people buy clothes-I like it when people ask for my advice and feel good about their purchase when they leave.
Jim turned 61 and Nat turned 21 in January. Natalie will graduate in 2010 from South Eugene. She has had a wonderful teacher the past 3 years. He has her and another student working at a child care making beds and cleaning up. She also works at a program for kids with special needs, making cookies.
She does many other jobs in school. He was the first teacher to test to see if could read after many years of me tell her teachers that she could. She can. :-)
Thanks to her wonderful teacher, we were able to get Nat into a wonderful group home. She is so happy now. So are we!We're empty nesters now!
Emmanuel (our grandson) is a joy. After having 2 girls, I wasn't too sure about having a boy around. He's be 31/2 now. He is a lot of fun and I enjoy as much time as I can with him. Sarah, his mom (& our oldest)and Eliyah live here in Eugene,we see each other a lot. Sarah is a CNA, and is working at a local care facility. She has a wonderful heart for working with the elderly. Her husband is a cab driver.
P.S. My sweet older brother,Lee, went home to be with the Lord October 6,2008. Please! all of you out there-make sure you know the silent signs of a heart attack, and not wait until it's too late!
