Jane's Story
After graduating from Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, NJ, attended Ridgewood School of Art for two years and transferred to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 1970. Started career in public broadcasting in 1974 as an art director for TV stations in New York, New Hampshire and San Francisco, CA. Completed my 18th year in TV working for CBS in San Francisco as an art director before becoming a multimedia director for a software/internet company in Mill Valley California (SF Market) helping clients such as Disney, IBM, Microsoft, Fidelity, Ford, BMW, Jaguar. a position at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (administered by University of California) as Scientific & Technical Information Department Head, overseeing artists, animators, photographers, videographers, writers, librarians, publishers, archivists. Retired from there in 2009 and now work independently part-time as a notary public and certified signing agent, which allows me to work as much or as little as I like. Married, living in Berkeley, CA. Loved every minute of it. I've been very lucky. Lucky to have had the education and to have known the people I've known along the way. I love to travel. Photography is a big hobby. Also very involved in community activities, as always ; )
