Jane's Story
Life
Struggling through and sticking it out for the first many years of marriage was absolutely the best decision I've ever made. We have four children and they are my proudest accomplishment next to making the time and taking the effort it took and continues to take to have a solid and happy marriage. Elizabeth is 23 and graduated from Tulane. She is married to Nicholas Joseph Icamina who brought with him a beautiful son named Cade Nicholas Icamina. I am Gammy and Bobby is Pops. They were married 2 yrs this past January. Elizabeth just finished her first year at Loyola on a scholarship for the combination MBA/Law Program. She was elected Honor Board Representative for the 2nd consecutive term. Lauren, 20 is in her 2nd year at Loyola and is one of the most beautiful and precious people I know. Bobby,III graduates from St. Paul's H.S. in Covington and will be attending the University of Idaho in the fall. He is afraid he won't be able to control himself at LSU and wants to study medicine (heart surgeon)so is going across the country his first year or so. Taylor (girl) will be 11 on June 21st. She has just signed an 18 month contract with an agent Kazarian/Spencer and Associates in Los Angeles (Elisha Wood's agent)to begin auditioning for televison and movies. We will go for 6 weeks starting in July and 21/2 months in January for the "pilot season". Can you imagine this is happening? Us either. Whatever ...Expand for more
happens, the experience and adventure will be something she'll (we'll) never forget. As long as she can stay humble and grounded, we'll keep going. I'll keep you posted. I was a professional volunteer and fund raiser for as long as I can remember until I was spritually led to write a series of children's stories. The first is completely illustrated and will be sent out to publishers this month. Each story has a life lesson and revolves around a little girl named Rolyat. (Taylor backwards) She is in the first grade and the books are written in her voice. My goal is to teach life lessons with the voice of a child but the wisdom of an adult. We shall see! In the middle of writing these children's stories I was inspired to write a gift book entitled Ask Him... I self published this and have sold over 1200 copies in my town. They are $10. Volume II is finished and the cover color is picked out so we'll be in production within a week. I even have a school in Oregon that wants to sell it as a fund raiser with a purpose. Cool huh? My educational children's toy City Shapes is moving along well. They will be manufactured in Hong Kong and hopefully will be in stores late 2003. Bobby and I have been living in Madisonville, La. for about 18 years & celebrate 25 yrs. of marriage in December of this year. Bobby continues to do everything in his power to make everyone of my dreams come true. I am a very blessed woman.
