Jane's Story
Life
Married to Paul Shaeffer for 32 years. I
met Paul in the military. In 1967 my
sister and I joined the military. I
later met Paul at Fort Bragg, NC.
Position: Executive Assistant for large
private medical practice of 62
physicians in Charlotte, NC. My husband,
Paul, is a Commercial Appraiser with
First Union. We have one daughter, Jill
an RN. I have two grandsons, Ashton
Paul 2 years old and William Thomas 9 months old.
I have lived in several cities: Atlanta,
Orlando, Le...Expand for more
xington, Nashville, and
Charlotte. All great places. My family
is still in Middlesboro and I visit at
least twice a year.
Paul and I are planning a retirement
home in Western Carolina in Maggie
Valley - in the Waynesville area.
Retirement is still several years away.
My greatest joy is being a grandmother!
It's the best.
