Jane's Story
I remember my dearest childhood best friend we were best friends since the 1st grade, we grew up together living just down the road from each other. We never fought, had some disagreements but only lasted maybe a day. We knew everything about each other and keep alot of secerts that only her and I knew, she was always spending time at my house, we use to always listen to the records and pretend to sing with a hair brush,lol. Those were the days. In high school we tryed to get the same glasses together, after our graduation yr we kinda drifted apart for a couple of yrs, but got back in contact, her children called me Aunt Jane and mine called her Aunt Connie. dearest and best friend passed away, along with her husband and family I stood by my best friends side as she was passing away, I know she would have done the same for me. It was so hard to say good bye to her but I know she is at peace and in no more pain. I made a CD of oldie but goodie songs we use to listen to. Every year I play them on her birthday and light a candle, have a good cry then a good laugh when I think of some of the silly but clean fun we use to have back in our days. I can still hear her saying to me on my birthdays...remember Jane your still four months older than me. My Best Friend always in my heart, miss her everyday, and always... I will love her.
