Jane's Story
Hi, well lets see, I worked for a while around Schenectady, than I enlisted in the Army in 79. Spent three years in Germany. Did a lot of traveling while there. Than met my husband there a year before getting out. Got married,had a son and a daughter, husband retired from military. My son will turned 32 this year, he has three sons, 13, 11, and 5 yrs old.. He is retired from military, homeschools his children and is attending collage.He living with his family at Carrolton, GA. My daughter is 30, she is married, and they have two sons-a 10 yr old and a 7yr old. They live Columbus Ga with me. We lived here for 5 yrs when my husband retired and decided to make it our home.

hired permanent. I was located up near Atlanta. He left his office to check on a job site in April of 99..while traveling I75N in his Chevy 1500, he and a van were hit by a semi, as a result of the impact he received numerous broken bones, and internal injuries to include brain injuries. He was unconcious from time of impact. His broken bones healed, external injuries healed, but he never regained consciousness remaining in a coma till he passed 9 yrs later in Nov of 2008. Hard to believe it's been 6 yrs since his passing, 15 since his accident. But life goes on, and so do you, you now live on for the children and grandchildren...yet there's not a day goes by that he's not thought of.
There's nothing like children and grandchildren to keep one busy.
