Janet's Story

My husband, Von, and I moved to Washington State in 2006. Our retirement home is on a 7+ acre, heavily forested parcel. Gardening is something I've loved forever... now I'm able to spend lots of time enjoying landscape design, new plantings and maintaining my existing gardens. We take annual spring vacations in Mexico, and some years we also visit friends and family in Texas during the coo...Expand for more
ler spring months. Every summer our grandchildren spend time at our house and also enjoy going camping with us. In the fall we are busy cleaning up the vegetable garden and preparing the yard for winter. When winter comes, I organize my family photos and design photo books for my five grandchildren. Cold winter days I also spend time writing memoirs, and reading. LIFE IS GOOD!
