Janet DeForest's Story

I am married and living in Kansas now. We have four grown children, and four grandchildren. All are truly wonderful people. We moved to Kansas coming up on 20 years ago. Before that we lived in Lakewood, California. Before we lived there, my husband was in field service for Hughes Aircraft and we were out on Long Island, NY for a bit, then Lexington Park...Expand for more
, Maryland. Then back to Southern California. In September, 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm still kickin' so things look good right now. I have enjoyed my life and am grateful for every day that I've lived. My husband is a wonderful, gentle and kind man. Our children are loving, and three of them are married to beautiful people.
