Life After dropping out of high school, I got my GED and went on and became a Registered Nurse. I work in the Operating room of a busy Trauma Center mostly assisting CardioThoracic Surgeons, but am able to assist all other specialties. I harvest vein and radial artery,that is attatched to the heart in bypass surgeries. Before this most recent venue I was assisting with Neurosurgery cases, which is still my backup love in this field. Nursing is a great profession and I truely enjoy what I can contribute in helping my patients in their recovery. The people I work with are ever changing because it is associated with the Medical School, so over the last 20 years I have met people from all over the world and have forged some great friendships. I never married, which was my choice. I do date some great guys and am always ready for a good party. I own my own home and share my house with 2 cats and a very lively Shar Pei. I work a lot of hours and take about 120 hrs of call every 2 weeks, so the time off from work is very free and charished.
