Janet's Story

VISIT ME ON FACEBOOK!! Life Being a military brat (Navy), I had the luxury of moving all over as a child/teen. I lived in Bermuda from 1968-1972. I was only in 7th grade when I left but I have always missed the small town feel of our Navy community. I then moved to Orlando and on to San Antonio where I graduated from Mac Arthur High School in 1977. I have two daughters and six beautiful grandchildren (and I might add I love being a grandmother, and yes, those of you in my age group are old enough to be grandparents!) I also have 8 more grandkids from my husband,Rick's, three boys. That makes it to 5 children and 14 grandkids between the two of us! Yikes! Christmas and Birthdays are killers on the pocketbook! LOL Rick and I were married last year and are ecstatic with our life! It is always one adventure after another! I have met many ...Expand for more
people over the years and would love to talk to some of the people I went to school with, met during my travels or worked with. In particular I am trying to find a girl who lived in Bermuda with us named Robin Mello. Take care, all, and drop me a line, even if just to say hi! College/Work Went off and on to SAC and other colleges in SA to include St Phillips and Palo Alto. I also attended college at the University of Maryland in England, Gulf Coast Community College, and graduated from Park University. My major was in Human Resources and Health Care Administration. My main courses of interest revolved around journalism but I did take courses in Radio Broadcast (got licensed) and Child Development. I have worked for the military for over 20 years in the healthcare field in health benefits, marketing, web management and education/training.
