Janet's Story

Well, I was so shy in high school I think many would be shocked to see me now. I narrate for our chorus here at Carillon (adult community) and have been in plays, etc. I love to talk to anyone who will listen. Isn't it funny how some of us change so much? I loved high school and will miss so many of my classmates who have gone on. I have 4 children, 9 grandchildren plus 2 of their spouses, and 6 great grandchildren. Will be 80 yrs young on May 28, 2010. Where did the years go? My first real boyfriend and I broke up after 4 or 5 years. He is married and I hear from them at Christmas time. That is nice. we buried him on my 50th birthday. I have not had a relationship snce then. They have associated my name with my sister's picture, Sue Sheets Heck in the 1951 yearbook. I graduated in '48, so there is no way that I should be in the '51 yearbook. There used to be a 48 book but am not finding it, Time has passed since I wrote in here and I will be 83 my next birthday in May of 2013. #7 great grandchild is on it's way. Here it is August of 2013 and just recently my son in law, David Ciampa passed away. My daughter is suffering so much. #7 grandchild arrivedMarch 6, weighed in at almost 10 lbs. he is now over22 lbs. cutting two teeth and crawling.

Having pizza at Fast Eddie's where they sell sports equipment, gas and have a restaurant. It's right across the street from the Dollar Store. There is a sign posting it as a congested area, but that's all that's there! LOL

Roger Del Grosso's booming voice and wonderful smile will no longer be enjoyed by the Carillon Chorus. He is probably best known for his performance in Abondonza... RIP old friend!.
