Janet's Story
Went to college-I got two degrees,
Enlisted in -Vista--went to Kentucky-
Came back home, was overjoyed¿
A house with friends-and now employed
Move on out to live in Queens
A nightmare job- a really bad scene
Our "flat" on Main Street-
In the heart of Smithtown-
A job, a love, and marriage bound! (you ARE so corny!)
Headed out east-to a house with charm-
The Realtor never mentioned-
The stinky duck farm!!!!!
Joy of joys we have a Kevin-
I know in my heart he came from Heaven!-
Autism-Aspergers- a CSE-
I"m his mom, don't MESS WITH ME!!!!!
Parents leave,
And I must grieve-Loose some friends,
my soul on the mend-
My child reaches for the sky-
He's bright and funny
That ain't no lie!
I begin to creak and ache-
But I love life-make no mistake!
I'm older and WIDER, but I'm worth more-
Than any young "thang"-
of twenty and four!! ( - Keep going----there's more----)
