Janet's Story
Well, after high school, I wasn't as ambitious as I wish I would've been. Instead of following my dreams of becoming a doctor, I went to Shoreline Comm. College for 2 years, then had my daughter AnnMarie. She is now 15 years old.
As many of you know, parenting is quite a challenge to say the least - though my daughter has been a true blessing in my life. She is so sweet, funny, beautiful and quite talented. I enjoy her very much.
I moved north as a single mom in 1995 and began rebuilding a new life of my own. That is where I became a volunteer firefighter with the City of Stanwood and met my wonderful husband Scott. anwood. I have worked for an Everett periodontist for 11 years, 6 as a surgical assistant, and 5 as office manager. We live on Camano Island and love it. However, we are hoping to move to Eastern WA once AnnMarie has graduated from High School. I wouldn't dream of moving back to Everett! We also have a 3 year old yellow lab Morgan and a 11 month old chocolate lab Baylee. They are precious, and very spoiled.
We spend our extra time traveling, camping, skiing, boating and hanging out with our best friends Tami and Kevin. Our favorite places to visit are Maui, Whistler and more often- E. WA. Scott and AnnMarie also dirt bike ride but I haven't gotten into that one yet.
I adore my family and friends and that is why I would not change anything about my life today- life is great!
