Janette's Story

I am the Administrative Coroner for Sangamon County. It is my greatest joy to help families when they lose a loved one and help them through. I have been married to the same guy since 1974 and have 2 children, a son in law, and a grandson. My daughter will be finishing her MBA in Aug 2010. My son works for the highway dept here in IL. the last 3 years of their lives--such a fairytale. I come home to Virginia at least 3-4 times a year. You can take a girl out of her home, but you can't take the home out of the girl and VA will always be my home. Once I can finally retire, I will be be back. I have learned so much over the years about myself and other people and my greates joy is seeing the kindness people have to offer.
