Janette O'Brien:  

I have been married for almost 25 years to Dan O'Brien. We have two beautiful children, Kyle, age 23 and Maura age 20. We live in Evergreen, CO. I received my teaching certificate in 1990 from Metro State University and stayed home with my children for 15 years. I tutored students in my home, which lead me to home school both Kyle and Maura while I also took care of my aging mother-in-law for ten years. When we decided to travel around the United States as a family band, we were gone for five years. We played old-time, Classic Country, and Bluegrass music. We were "The O'Brien Family Band". My husband, Dan, wrote our songs, played guitar and sang lead and harmony vocals. I played the bass and sang harmony vocals, built our website and promoted and booked our band.
