I'm the 'Genealogy Nut' and 'WebQueen' in our family. Our main family website, ANCESTOR WORLD, can be found at Bravenet. ancestorworld.bravesites.com/ Since retiring, I've been able to do only enough genealogy and website work to keep from having the DTs and going into withdrawal. *LOL* Originally, I was very involved in Volunteer Ministries in our Retirement Community (Wheelchair and Nursing Home Ministries). Although I was rarely able to attend services at my church, I still had contact with many of my Church Family because so many either live on our Campus or go to our Nursing Home, either for re-hab or long-term care. Not having a vehicle of my own, it was wonderful to be able to do so much within walking distance of my 'nest' (small retirement apartment). When my Parents moved to our Nursing Home in 2014, my Life got really complicated . . . . . moving some of their belongings to the NH (when they FINALLY decided what they wanted to move) and clearing out their house while also doing my Volunteer Service! Mama went to Heaven PEACEFULLY on 3 Sep 2015, 18 days prior to her 90th Birthday and 2 months prior to their 70th Wedding Anniversary.
