Janice's Story
Life--I have just recently received my certification as a dog trainer! I am also a part time dog-transporter; that is, transporting dogs that have been pulled from kill shelters, from humane societies, etc., and transporting them to a destination to meet another transporter or their forever homes! I LOVE helping to save these precious animals!
Also, (LADIES, TAKE NOTE!), I have recently become an Independent Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and Skin Care products! So, if you ever need anything, or just want to browse my site, just email me here! I would LOVE for you to stop by! (Psst! We also have a men's line of skin care!) Along with that you can also purchase some wonderfully scented candles! Email me for more info on that!
My Kids
Daugher, Krystal, is 34 and my son, Ashley, is 32. My grandchildren are twins Bethany Elaine and Peyton Gregory...my son's children, and are now 7yrs old, and my oldest two are now 16 (Michael) and 15y/o (Shaunte'). I also have a doggie, LilJoe that is 8yrs old, and a cat, Little Miss Kitters, that is 4yrs old.
My Job
I am currently employed at United Cerebral Palsy. I have obtained a certificate for Medical Billing Specialist, ...Expand for more
and hope to be working from home, at least part time, some day so I can pursue my other interests. I am currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College, only 4 weeks and a final away of becoming a Professional Dog Trainer!**
I guess you would say I am more of a "free spirit" than a lot of my other classmates of 1974. I have quite a number of interests "on my plate" at the moment.
Workplace
When I first graduated from Wildcat Hill, I started working at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. I worked in a doctors office as a medical insurance billing clerk; after that, I went back to working health insurance companies. After about 13 years, guess u could say I sort of "burned out" on that and went into the hospitality industry, and worked as a night auditor in hotels for 15 years, my last one being at the AmeriSuites Hotel in Charlotte, NC. Since moving back home, I have completed a course in Medical Billing Specialist to refresh things I knew and learn the new and hope to have a medical billing business from home someday, sooner than later! Currently, I am employed as a Medical Billing Technician at United Cerebral Palsy in Little Rock. So, I feel as if I am finally on my way!
