Janice's Story
Life
After graduating from CSUN with an archeaology degree, I became an apartment manager in Toluca Lake for 5 yrs. In 2004, my husband's army career took us to Washington DC. We live in Woodbridge VA. I like living here, even though I miss Southern California, due to getting to experience the 4 seasons. As well the extent of affordable homes with huge backyards is wonderful. not miss apartment living at all! We have 5 parrots, 3 cats, 2 papillon dogs. Ive been married to the same man since 1994. From this marriage, I have two stepkids who are in their 20s and very tall. My health has been challenging over the years. I survived thyroid cancer and a brain tumor in 2000. As well as breast cancer in 2007. My current occupations are a bookkeeper and pet sitter. I find them both quite fun.
