Janice's Story
Life
I grew up a Military Brat, mostly Germany. The tendency to move lasted even after the military left behind. One awful year I changed addresses 5 times (once a year was average). Happily, that's slowed down.
After finishing my undergrad at ODU, I went to Lehigh U in Pa and got a teaching degree. Pa has a glut of teachers, my father was stationed in Gulfport, MS and I ended up in Bay St. Louis, MS for my first teaching job. I met my husband while on walkabout in New Orleans (1 hour from Bay St. Louis). Initially, we both had traveling and teaching in common (he was a professional athlete and taught/coached/scouted for a couple years.) We are now in Pa. with a preschooler girl and a toddler boy.
