Janice's Story
Life
Just a quick outline of the past 40 years!
Worked for the Departments of Health and Environmental Protection then went on to the Attorney General's Office. The highlight and most interesting job was Secretary to the Speaker of the House. After that I worked for a short stint in the Governor's Office. I married and retired at age 32 and had my one and only baby boy at the ripe old age of 37. He is now 21 and in college. Steve was offered a great job in Palm Beach in 1992, so we moved to Florida and have been here ever since. I now keep busy gardening, playing tennis and just enjoying my home, family, friends and this paradise of South Florida (barring any more horrific hurricaines). My Spouse
Steve and I have been married for 25 years now. Steve was the director of Donnelly Hospital in Trenton, and built Mercer County Geriatric Center. He worked for several years in NYC Helath and Hospitals running a Hospital on Staten Island. But the tropical ambiance of Florida had a strong pull. He continues to run nursing homes in Palm Beach.
My Son
Steven turned 21 this past December (2007). He was a avid and competitive skateboarder until his 2nd ACL replacement. He's now attending college and is majoring in photograply. He's stays in the skateboarding loop that way and has had several of his photos published in national skateboarding magazines. His life lies before him.
