Janice's Story
Life
I worked in the offices at Firestone (now Bridgestone/Firestone) while in high school and after a year at Manchester College in Indiana. After I met my husband, Jeff on a blind date in 1998, we got married in '91, moved to Massillon, and had two kids, Jenna in '94 and Jacob in '97. Kids are cool! I quit work so I could stay at home with the kids and continue my education. I graduated from Stark State College of Technology with two associates degrees in Office Admin; Word Processing and Records Management.
I have been a Girl Scout Leader for my daughter's troop ...Expand for more
of 12-18 girls. I work part-time in the offices of the counseling department at Family & Community Services in Kent. My hobbies are bicycling, rubber stamping and scrapbooking. I am also an independent contractor for Stampin' Up! I give classes and in-home workshops teaching the art of rubberstamping custom cards, gifts and scrapbook pages.
I'm now divorced and enjoying single-life again. I went to the Ellet reunion in 2001 and had a blast. It was really fun to see everyone, but didn't get to talk to everyone. Hope to see you at another get-together again soon.
