Jan's Story
Some of my fondest memories are from grammar and high school. I moved from Tennessee to Alabama in the 6th grade and overnight went from a country girl to a city girl. At age 21, married and moved to Atlanta, GA. Retired from Lockheed Aircraft at age 56 and moved to Washington. Surrounded by the Olympic mountains and the water. A beautiful view in any direction. My prime hobby is ballroom dancing. Several years prior to retiring, I became a certified ballroom dance instructor, and that is my past-time hobby. It's good exercise and a LOT of fun. Ballroom dancing is one of the best ways of making friends and acquaintances. It's just so difficult living so far away from my daughter and grandson who live in Georgia.
