Janie's Story
Hi everyone,
After graduating from Ribault I worked several different office jobs, and went to Jax. Junior College, which last I heard was FCCJ. In 1976 I went to work downtown for Jacksonville National Bank (a privately owned bank)and worked there for 5 years during that time I met my husband. We dated three years, and got married in 1982 and divorced in 2002. When we got married we moved to South Florida, which is where I live currently. community college down here, still do occasionally. Then in 1997 my mother was diagnosed with cancer so we moved her in with us and took care of her till she passed in 1999. After my husband left in 2001, I worked for a plumbing contractor for 3 years, and at the present I work at a great place called Everglades Holiday Park... which is a campground and we provide Airboat rides to people from all over the world that come here for vacation.
