Life
Greetings from our old brown shingle in Berkeley. I've been married for 29 years to the wonderful John Gordon and have a 17 year old daughter named Molly. Teaching her to drive might be the scariest thing I have ever done. Molly is the light and joy of our lives. John and I work together in commercial real estate investing in and restoring old buildings. ta Plaza Park running Scully, our soft-coated wheaten terrier. I have been writing and have published three personal essays in the Berkeley Daily Planet and one in The Monthly called "Saturday Night Seduction." You can find them on-line and search the archives under my name. My writer's workshop has published a book and I have 2 pieces in it. Proceeds from sales will benefit the Breast Care Center at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley. The title of the book is Something That Matters, edited by Elizabeth Fishel. It is available at Amazon.com.
