Janise's Story
Okay, so I left Detroit in 1982. I lived and worked in Washington, DC until 1992. I got tired of the daily grind, packed up all of my toys, moved to central Illionis, where I went back to school full-time. I worked hard to earn my undergrad degree in Junior/High Middle School Education. I was fortunate enough to do my teaching intern in Eastborne, England. Intending to move...Expand for more
back to DC, I got caught up in the "Gotta work," jones and moved to Chicago where I have been teaching since 1995. Still not satisfied, I really needed to go back to school to work on my doctorate as I have always wanted to be a university professor. "If the Lord willin and the creek don't rise" I will have earned my Ed.D. in instructional technology by the end of this year.
