Jarvis's Story
Life
I am Jarvis Smith. At this present moment I am doing very well for myself. I am not married, don't have any kids. I currently own my own business and I contract with American Intercontinetal University on the side.
I love my life and I have no regrets. I do not like the person that I was, but I love the person I am becoming. I just love to chill and keep my head on straight. Stay from drama, so I don't bring any stupid stress to my residence.
I guess I can say that the greatest part about life is that I learned to love people where they are at and I decided to stop being so critical. I am very conservative. For some that is a mind blower. However, I sometimes cross party lines when the person is the most qualified, but only when he has a conservative point of view.
For me, my greatest sense of accomplishment is when I graduated from Tennessee State University. Some people can say whatever they like about HBCU's, but until you have attended one, you cannnot say anything stupid about it.
When people get know me for real, they will come to find that I am an honest person, that I do not mind being a little controversial, that I do not go along with the crowd, and I do not mind standing up for what I belie...Expand for more

The one thing that I learned from high school is that you are not always going to be the most popular, you are not going to be accepted by everyone, and finally learn to love people. The main thing I can take from high school is that you learn to grow and elevate above b.s. and ignorance.
Sure I was considered to be lame and called other things. I know who I am and I learned to live with it. What real people come to understand is that those who are mr. and mrs. popularity are just as broke and as miserable as they want to be. They usually have a low self-image of who they are. They always try to go with the trend and what's in. Yet, what I find to be alarming is that they don't have a clue as to who they are. The main thing is to have knowledge of self. You will find that you are beautiful just the way God created you.
I love that I am a single brother trying to go somewhere in life. I am doing everything to make sure that when i do get married, that I will give family a high quality lifestyle. My whole dream is the wife and kids thing with a nice home. I can honestly say that I am not going to be working corporate America by the year of 2005. Believe that!!!!!!
