Dumb move for 2007:
I meant to purchase 3 months of classmates.com and accidentally purchased 1 year. I'll try to make the most of it now.
School
I have a lot of fun memories from high school, but I admit, as the years pass, more and more I forget the names and the faces. I had a few good friends from Simley and significantly more friends from So. St. Paul. I'm still good friends with Matt Didier but I think he's about the only person I see on any sort of regular basis from high school. I've lost track/touch of most of my high school and college friends. I regret it, and I don't. Good times were had in the past but now it leaves a little room in my busy life for new things and new people.
A few random memories from junior and senior high:
-Those interrelated groups that we tested as we entered 7th grade.
-Building and flying model rockets in Mr. Nelson's science class
-Getting my hair pulled for acting up in Mr. Johnson's class
-Proving Mollie Curtis changed my answers incorrectly on one of my spelling tests with erasable ink
-The "sludge" science project we all went through
-The sch...Expand for more
ool walkout.
-CLC, I only spent one day there but one day was enough
-John Ryder's canibalistic sunfish and perch fish experiment in Mr. Bierman's "Bobology" class.
-Occupying a locker between Joe Blackbird and Lori Bourbon for 6 consecutive years.
-Joe Blackbird ripping the my locker door off its hinges our very last day of school and wonderingwhat the consequences were going to be for that. Nothing ever happened as a result of it and I still have the locker door to this day, signed by several of my senior classmates.
-Almost not graduating for failing Ms. White's English class as a senior because of being absent too many times - I had to attend summer school to make up the credit.
College
College was a great experience that taught me a lot more than the words I read from a book. The only thing I don't miss about it is being broke.
Workplace
I'm a Systems Engineer. I design, build, and maintain corporate network servers. Heavy into Windows, Linux, VMware virtualization, clustering, and Citrix. I've worked for a large downtown Minneapolis bank for the last 10 years. Consulting prior to that. I consider myself pretty lucky in the work that I do and the satisfaction I get out of it.
