Jason's Story

Life Well, after a few years wasted at Yavapai College I got serious and Got my BS from ASU (Go Devils!) I then worked in Phoenix and Tempe for a while and decided to get a masters degree. I got my masters in information science from U of A (Go Wildcats!) in '96. I moved to Tucson to finish my degree, and I shared a house with my college roomate from my undergrad degree. I worked for the American Cancer Society as a manager. Ironically while working there I was diagnosed with Melanoma. I'm a survivor, so far. irector of a Tucson Based non-profit called Arizonans for a Drug-Free Workplace. In January 2004, that compant merged with Compass Health Care, where I am now Community Relations Director. I'm currently buying a house with my girlfriend of the past 6 years. Frankly, I hated High School, but now I realize that I missed some great opportunities for friendships there. Lets face it, I was a weird kid, and kind of a jerk. I think I've grown up a bit, but my girlfriend might want to debate that! I'd love to hear from anyone that remembers that weird, geeky kid I used to be.
