Jason's Story
Life
Dang! What's with the 4k character limit? Good thing I'm doing this at work so I can get paid for it. I suppose anyone who knows me well enough to want to read a bio probably knows my specs up through high school. From EUHS I went to UOP where I got a BS in EE and next Fall I'm going to SDSU to get a MS EE. I started working for defense contractors last Summer and then bought a house in Vista last fall. Would be nice to buy another one, but student loans do wonders to oneÂs finances. I lived in Germany a couple summers ago for an internship and I'll be vacationing there again this summer. I work in San Diego making stuff for people I can't say much about, but at least our tax dollars are being used to entertain me on a daily basis. According to this email I got, I have a dead relative in Nigeria who has left me millions. It's weird 'cause several of my friends have a similar relative who has left them millions too. And in a Nigerian bank too. It's amazing that any relative of mine would put millions in a foreign account where the economy sucks and it costs thousands of bucks to pull the money out. How retarded do these Nigerian scammers think we are? Well, I'll tell you - they think we're very retarded.
So moving on to my life as a thespian. I've never acted in my life and never plan to. I do still play the piano and since high school have taken up the didgeridoo and conch shell. I bet your all wondering if that was an innuendo. Or if maybe both of those were innuendos. So as to let our tax dollars entertain you as well, I'll let you keep wondering. I still have that blue 57 Chevy truck and have since more-or-less finished it only to acquire a '70 Chevelle. I'd say it's my dream car (though not in it's present state). The car I always wanted and now I have it. I rule.
Let's see, I've used just over 1800 characters so far. I have never had any luck keeping mammals, reptiles or fowls alive, but then I discovered fish and boy are they Jason-compatible. ...Expand for more
I highly recommend them for people looking for low-maintenance pets. Or pets that don't shed and make a lot of noise. I also recommend the movie Waking Life. It's kind of monotonous because each scene is some interesting dialogue and after about 15 of such dialogues you start thinking "Damn, I'm gettin' sick of all this interesting jibba jabba. I wish this movie would stop being so interesting and do something else." I also recommend working out. Desk jobs do amazing things for one's volume, so to make sure there's room for all of us at our HS reunion, we should all work out. Or at least take the stairs instead of the elevator. Or meth.
Shortly after graduating from UOP I bought my first new car. I don't recommend new cars. I wish I had done the math before hand, but now with my 20/20 I can see that buying a 1-year-old car even with 40k miles is way better even if youÂre not getting the 0% financing. Sure, your bank will give you 5-6% financing, but since itÂs only a 5-yr loan, you're hardly paying any extra money for that interest. Check this out: a $20k car over 5 years at 0% is $333.33/mo. Say you buy the car a year later for $15k at 6% for 5 yrs, your monthly is only $289.99 and you still have 2 years on the warranty. And you donÂt really seem to get much more selection when buying new either.
I presently teach math part time and thoroughly love it. IÂll be quitting that 2nd job once this summer hits because I donÂt have time for 2 jobs and grad school, but maybe once I have kids who are of school age, IÂll try out teaching at a JC and phase out of engineering.
I actually have another part time job working for a bank in Nigeria. In fact, I saw that one of your relatives left you about 10 million bucks, and I can get those funds released to you if you just send me $2,800. Just Western Union it to me and IÂll take care of it.
IÂm almost out of characters here. I hope you all are doing well. See you in a couple years. Last word in.
