Jason's Story

Life My Spouse I met my wife, Liz, while at CSU. She, like me, was an engineering student. We've been married since '93. My Pets We have 3 cats, 2 dogs, a hamster, and a small collection of fresh-water fish. My Kids We have 3 boys and 3 girls. My Job I am a test/prodcut engineer. My company makes buses - school, commercial, and RV. School Biggest crush: I had a couple names here, but you know, it's all water under the bridge. I'm very thankful to have ended up with the one who's my wife. Most Inspiring Teachers: Mr. Williams - History/Civics; Mr. McDaniel - Chemistry Do it over? Well, perhaps yes. There were a lot of things that didn't go "my" way - but looking back, I'm glad they didn't. There were good times and not-so-good times - but that's life. I'm thankful for the experience as a whole. Craziest moment: Taking Beth Seitz (class of '87) home from school in a winter blizzard in my freshly "restored" '55 Plymouth (and another crazy thing - I still have that car). ut I remember having the most fun when I was acting in the school plays. Funniest moment: Again, one moment doesn't stand out, but I know there were some good ones. Come to think of it, Freshman year Biology with Ms. Ashby, senior year chemistry with Mr. McDaniel (and Pao Vang's conservative commentaries), junior year English with Dr. Specht, and any year with Mr. Ingle in the drama department (funny times as well as stressful/weird times). College I had two unique roomates. The first one was freshman year, in the dorm. His name was Jim and he was from Pueblo. He was a party animal - and I was not. My second roomate, Jeff, with whom I lived for 3 years, was on the other end of the spectrum. He was a quiet home-body - I was "wild" compared to him. But he had a good calming effect on me. The cafeteria food wasn't too bad. But I remember having many bowls of Cocoa Krispies instead of the entree du jour. I also remember the dorm floor "brother" who would often belch so loud that the entire cafeteria would fall silent. It was gross, but amazing.
