Jay's Story
Hey guys, just thought I'd drop a few lines here to say hi. It's been awhile hasn't it? I've had a heck of a good time for the most part since we all were kids. Partied pretty hard for about 10 years after high school. Then decided to settle down some. Went to SHSU and got an education. Then went on to UT for my masters. Met a great lady and got married. We were absolutely crazy about each other. She was very beautiful, intelligent and sexy but after 12 years I lost her in a car wreck. So it's back to being single again. I've finally got my head back on straight after 4 years and I'm starting over. Maybe we'll see each other somewhere, I'm back in town after being gone for... whew, it's been awhile, over 20 years... time flies huh?
Where's the party this weekend? lol
Just kidding, y'all be cool, bye for now.
regards, Jay
HA... I finally upgraded my account. It didn't hurt too bad. Now I can see who's been visiting and leaving a name, BUT not saying anything.
So, I moved back home after my wife died and took care of my father (cancer) until he passed away. Last thing he asked was for me to take care of mom and his "olde store".
So, that's what I'm doing guys. Y'all come by the store here in Montalba if you get the chance. I sell BBQ on the weekends up there (fri-sun) and play lots of old tunes... I might even have a cold beer ...Expand for more
hid out somewhere. Just trying to have a good time and get paid for it. Isn't that what we all really want anyway? lol
See ya soon, Jay
Hey, Houston/Pasadena... I wanted to add a lil something for the non-Palestinians.. lol.
I was born in Palestine, Tx. in '62 and we lived here for a few years. Dad got a job in Houston and we lived there (in several places) and moved back to Palestine in '75. I had a lot of good friends there once upon a time. If any of you remember me say hello. I have a lot of fond memories of you guys.

and many more Hi, WJG.
And for the Athens visitors...
There's bound to be a few of you that I taught school with or for as well. I loved being a teacher for the few years that I was A.B.L.E. . My family's medical needs required me to work elsewhere. I wish you all the best.
regards, Mr. G (aka. G-Man)
p.s. My wife, Therese taught/subbed in Athens for several years. ('98-'04)
She loved her work and loved y'all. Maybe some of you guys remember what a wonderful person and terrific teacher she was.
Say hi if you do.
thanks, Jay
