Somehow I didn't get my pic into the senior yearbook, and I didn't get the yearbook that I was in. Oh, well. I'll track down some old photos eventually.
After GHS, I messed around, went to Citrus on and off. For the 'off' part, I was deemed 'not a serious student', hence draftable.
When my number came up, I enlisted in the Army for aircraft maintenance school.
Had an easy bootcamp at Fort Ord (midst of VOLAR program)
Advanced training at Fort Rucker (Waived Aircraft Maint. in favor of ATC school)
PP at Ft. Rucker (72nd ATC)
Drove a red 4dr Valiant, spent a lot of time at the auto shop. Drove the Valiant back to SoCal.

ermany, stationed in Schwaebisch Hall, but actually served on Erbeskopf, then in Bayreuth.
As short-timer, returned to Schwaeb Hall, then ETS in Mar 74.
Lived on the ranch again (Wildwood), finished up AS (Automotive) at Citrus. Had a few jobs, enrolled at Cal Poly to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Did some traveling on my CB750, put about 60,000 miles on it. (in between working and studying).
Got the degree, worked briefly at Schlumberger, then at Amada.
Amada downsized in '02.
Since then, I've contracted and freelanced as a technical writer. I also do some CNC laser work (service, training, programing).
Married in '83, we have a daughter who is 24 now.
I'm also on Facebook and at laserpubs.
My project Corvair is pretty fun, though not all that pretty.
