for Caltech, MIT, Berkeley, and others.
Now semi-retired (work about 1/3 time) and fill hours with grandkids, serve on boards of a couple of non-profits, work with a local CSA farm, sing bass in the community chorus, and my wife and I travel a lot - were in Santiago on 23rd floor of Hyatt during the big earthquake of March '10; we thought the glacier trekking and white water rafting in Argentina before we got to Chile were the end of our adventures - surprise! Big trips this year: safari in South Africa in April and two weeks in China in September.
Hobbies: grandkids, reading, weight lifting, gardening, cooking, water sports (scuba, snorkeling, windsurfing), photography, computer, finding new restaurants, and traveling (logged 45 countries and counting). Big movie goers, season subscribers to the BSO, and recently became fans of the Met HD broadcasts.
Oh, and we have a cat.
